Travelling Tales is a classic Irish red ale with a modern hoppy twist, inspired by the E1 5a climb on Hen Mountain. A post-mash addition of roasted barley lends this ale its distinctive ruby hue without the burnt bitterness. We’ve bridged the Atlantic by blending UK Bramling Cross and North American El Dorado hops for a bright aroma of lemon, loganberry, and stone fruit. Expect a perfect balance of malt sweetness and classic American hop bitterness. A late kettle addition of Jester hops layers in flavours of blackcurrant and resin for a satisfying and complex finish. A rugged, easy-drinking ale that balances traditional Irish soul with a bold, tropical hop adventure.
